RSI was born in July 2024 out of recognition that regulatory pressure on the health and wellness industries, catalysed during the COVID-19 era, was increasing to such an extent it was seriously restricting growth, impeding commercial free speech, and unnecessarily interfering with the function of businesses. It brings together under one umbrella two teams that had a history of working together over two decades with incredible success. This was the legal team headed by attorney Jonathan Emord, Esq. of Virginia-based Emord & Associates, aka the ‘FDA Dragon Slayer’, the second team being led by multi-disciplinary scientist, Rob Verkerk, Ph.D., founder of the Alliance for Natural Health.
RSI’s inception coincides with Jonathan’s decision to become General Counsel of the Alliance for Natural Health USA, which is actively involved in lobbying and litigation on wider issues affecting individual and corporate rights and interests. Where businesses require private services, these are now provided by RSI, which has offices in both Virginia and the UK. Our unique combination of expertise in the scientific, legal and advocacy areas can’t be found anywhere else.

Jonathan has been practicing constitutional and administrative law before the federal courts and agencies since 1985. Having begun his career as an attorney in the Federal Communications Commission during the administration of President Ronald Reagan.
